Our soulmate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons, and together our direction is up, chances are we’ve found the right person. Our soulmate is the one who makes life come to life. ~Richard Bach

Is It Good To Be Alone?

Certainly not! Medically speaking, social isolation is bad for your health and can adversely affect your stress hormones, immune function, and cardiovascular function. Loneliness is a silent killer that can manifest the feeling of being not wanted or not loved enough.

Many people mistake loneliness with solitude but the fact is, solitude is a time off for yourself – it’s basically the time you let the noise of the world drain out of your ears, leaving them more open to be refilled with sound when you rejoin the society. However, loneliness is what occurs when you fail to connect back with the society and the people. You feel left out, you feel ALONE!

It’s Natural To Share Your Life With Someone

Humans are naturally meant to bond, to connect, to build relationships and to live together. In Genesis 2:18, God says “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” God meant us to experience human love, and wants us all to develop close, godly relationships with others. Staying lonely is like going against God’s will.

“When forever becomes a place...when forever ceases to be just a word… when it ceases to be a just a measurement of time…but instead becomes a place where soul mates can dance to the song in their hearts, that is a reflection of true love.” ~Steve Maraboli
